Ardasherkhon would be a great match for any host family as he highly values time with his family, has a positive attitude, and loves to try new things. He and his parents and siblings spend their free time picnicking in the park or watching movies at the local cinema. When it’s his turn to pick the film, he always leans towards sci-fi movies. The Star Wars series is his absolute favorite. Ardasherkhon maintains close relationships with his friends too. They particularly enjoy going to concerts together. Ardasherkhon hopes to continue playing his favorite sports in his U.S. high school – soccer and basketball. He has learned to be a very disciplined person through his martial arts practice. With his curious and open-minded personality, he is eager to try new hobbies as well. Just recently he tried dancing and painting for the first time and found them to be a lot of fun!
Does your family have any pets? Ardasherkhon always wished that he could have a cat or dog to welcome him when he returns home at the end of a busy day! In terms of academics, studying science and languages are his true forte. He always signs up for extra lessons when he can and participates in Olympiads. “In the future, I hope that I’ll become a good programmer or mechanical specialist and can change this world. This program is a good opportunity to learn more about a new country, new people and new culture. I think everything new is cool! [My] country has a rich history and a lot of traditions and customs and I think it may be interesting for Americans to know more about Central Asia and Tajikistan.”
