Hanadi has a wide variety of interests that make her well-suited for any host family. She loves spending time in nature with her scouts’ troop during hiking and camping adventures, and considers her fellow scouts to be a second family. Hanadi frequently taking the stage as a member of her school theater group. Singing in the church choir is also one of her passions. In terms of sports, her favorite is swimming, with tennis being a close second. Along with her family, Hanadi enjoys going bowling, watching movies, shopping, and occasionally traveling abroad. Whenever she has down time, she may be found playing a game of fetch with her pet dog. For the past year, Hanadi has been involved with her school radio station. She would like to transition these skills to becoming a television newscaster in the future. She’s considering becoming a doctor as an alternate career path. While in the U.S., Hanadi hopes to form strong friendships, strengthen her English skills, and teach others about Jordanian culture. She’s excited to try new activities, but most of all to create long-lasting memories with her American host family.
