Are you an active person who loves to spend time outdoors soaking up the sun and breathing in the fresh air? If you answered yes, then you will have a great time spending a year with Iga. During the warmer months, you can find Iga swimming laps, riding her bike through local parks, or shooting some hoops. When the weather turns cool, it’s possible to find Iga skiing or ice skating. However, you’re more likely to find her curled up with a blanket and good book since, as she likes to say, her “true love is reading.” Iga comes from a closely-knit family who loves to spend time together. They especially enjoy catching up on each other’s days over dinner, visiting tourist attractions in their city, playing board games, and taking family trips to the nearby mountains. This cheerful and adventurous young woman, who describes herself as “a positive person who likes to try new things and is curious about the world and other cultures,” is very much looking forward to building a similar close relationship with her future host family in the United States.
