Lusanda from South Africa is so excited to try new things during her exchange year, it’s hard for her to pick just one! She’s curious to try out for tennis or cheerleading at her American school, or get involved in environmental or community service clubs. Lusanda currently loves to play netball and do cheerleading, which she just started this year. When she’s not playing sports, Lusanda can be found with her family and friends doing things like playing board games or chess, singing along to music, going shopping, or having sleepovers.
If your family loves trying different foods, Lusanda will be right there with you! She can’t wait to have some American favorites while she’s here, especially corn dogs, french fries, and tacos- Lusanda says: “Whatever it is, I am willing to give it a go!” Lusanda isn’t just curious about Amerian cusine, though; she loves animals and the outdoors, and hopes to spend lots of time outside during her exchange year.
Lusanda is so excited to meet you and share her culture with you and your family. She shares: I am looking forward to meeting the kind people that are willing to take in a stranger and treat them as there own. I am very thankful to you and looking forward to loads of fun!”
