Rukhshonai loves to learn new languages. She’s currently in German Club but also wants to learn Arabic and French. Being multilingual will likely help her in her future career at the United Nations! She shares: “Being a finalist of the FLEX Program will help me to look at the world from a new perspective and find new and objective solutions for the world’s problems.”
At home, Rukhshonai helps around the garden and cooks dinner with her mom. If your family has a sweet tooth, be sure to ask Rukshonai to make some of her favorite holiday cakes! Rukshonai wants her new family to know: “I am really excited to meet you, to get to know about your interests, your country, and traditions. Looking forward to see you!
If your family is filled with Renaissance men and women, Rukhshonai from Tajikistan will fit right in! Rukhshonai says: “I am fond of doing everything! Every day I discover enormous amounts of new and interesting activities.” Her current favorites are playing tennis, riding her bicycle, and swimming. She also loves to sew and design clothes. When Rukhshonai is not keeping busy with these activities, you might find her reading poetry or listening to her favorite artists, One Direction and Selena.
