Ali from Pakistan is a creative young man who is always thinking up new ideas for fun projects! It’s no wonder that his career ambition is to become an automobile engineer when he’s older. If you have someone in your family that loves to talk about cars, Ali will fit right in. He says: “I know the names of almost every vehicle including cars, buses, and motorcycles!”
Ali enjoys playing a variety of sports from cycling to badminton to cricket. When he’s here in the U.S., he’s really curious to try skating or skiing. He is also interested in getting out of his comfort zone by trying drama and learning how to swim. One of Ali’s biggest passions, though, is playing video games. Ali likes that playing video games keeps him connected with his friends and allows him to relax and have fun. He only plays for a few hours a week but would love to play with his host family!
When asked why he wants to be an exchange student, Ali says: “I want to be a part of this cultural exchange program to broaden my horizons, make new friends, and to enhance my communication skills…I believe that I will become a better, stronger person.” Ali can’t wait to meet you and learn all about your life in America!
