Lershito from Indonesia can’t wait to sing the praises of his new host family…literally! His favorite activity is singing, and he says: “I promise to sing for you when we meet!” A member of both his school’s choir and marching band, Lershito is very musically inclined and would love a host family who enjoys music, too. He says he loves marching band because he “can create beautiful sounds” using instruments.
If your school has a drama club, Lershito would likely enjoy getting involved. He notes: “I love to act and make a lifeless story look more like life through my acting.” When he’s not on stage or spending time with school friends, Lershito also enjoys reading, writing, or volunteering for organizations like Save the Children.
Excited to share his culture with his new family, Lershito writes: “ I want to be an ambassador and tell everyone about my culture!” He can’t wait to meet his new family and explore his new host community with them!
