Who we are

Our tight-knit team, part of American Councils for International Education, works exclusively with high school scholarship students (ages 15-18) from more than 50 countries on programs funded by the U.S. Government.

We assist approximately 100 students and their host families per year, as well as support and monitor our on-the-ground team of Local Coordinators throughout the country. Whether you are a host parent or family, a student, or a Local Coordinator, we will be on a first-name basis with you throughout the year to help answer any questions, take care of logistics and paperwork, and to make sure your experience is awesome!

About American Councils

American Councils for International Education is a premier, international nonprofit creating educational opportunities that prepare individuals and institutions to succeed in an interconnected and increasingly interdependent world. Our vision is to help build a world of globally competent citizens, successful institutions, and responsible nations.

Through academic exchanges, overseas language immersion, and educational development programs, American Councils designs and administers innovative programs that broaden individual perspectives, increase knowledge, and deepen understanding. After being immersed in other countries and cultures, our participants become culturally aware citizens of the world, contributing to mutual understanding and successful international collaboration.
