The International Student Support Team is part of American Councils for International Education, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and institutions to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world. Since 1974, American Councils has administered innovative programs in 140 countries important to national security, prosperity, and peace.

Since 2001, our team has worked with high school students from more than 50 countries on programs funded by the US government. Each year, we assist students and their host families, while supporting our on-the-ground team of Local Coordinators based across the country. Whether you are a student, host family member, Local Coordinator, or school, we are here to answer your questions, support you, and make sure your experience is a success!
