Thank you for your continued interest in hosting an American Councils' scholarship exchange student!
Host Families who have completed a full Host Family Application in 2020 or later are eligible to complete a Returning Host Family Application!
Step 1
Submit an expedited Returning Host Family Application, which includes updates to your family’s basic biographical information, and complete background checks for all family members aged 18 or older.
Step 2
Your Local Coordinator will contact your family’s personal references, conduct an in-home interview, and secure school enrollment for the student at an accredited local high school.
Step 3
Your family will attend a Host Family Orientation, facilitated by an American Councils representative. Then, you’ll start your next hosting experience by picking up your student from the airport!
