About Adinai
Friendly Adinai makes sure to prioritize time with her friends and family as she feels happiest when with them. Adinai and her friends love to meet in local cafes to study, discuss their career goals, and laugh with one another. When she wants to relax at home, Adinai can usually be found watching a movie or baking sweet treats with her mom. During her exchange year, Adinai is looking forward to creating close bonds with her host families and new people in her community. “I am excited about the opportunity to meet new friends in the Unites States and learn from them,” Adinai writes.
As a self-described curious person, Adinai loves to explore new hobbies and try different activities. When she wants to stay active, she enjoys swimming or playing her favorite sport, volleyball. She shares, “Volleyball has taught me important lessons, like how to work with others and to never give up.” Music is also an important part of Adinai’s life, and she plays two instruments, the ukelele and the komuz, which is a traditional instrument of her home country. Adinai hopes to learn how to play a new instrument during her exchange year, and the drums are at the top of her list!
In the future, Adinai would love to study finance while also continuing to travel and explore new places. She loves learning about different cultures as it allows her to gain a new perspective about the world. While in the US, Adinai is excited to join different clubs and sports teams at her new school. She also hopes to get involved with community events and volunteering opportunities.
