About Aylar
Friendly Aylar gets along easily with others and loves spending time with her interesting group of friends. In their free time, they enjoy cooking, visiting local museums and theaters, and trying new foods. In order to meet new people in her future host school, Aylar plans “to join a theater or drama club to deepen my creative skills and make new friends.” Aylar’s creative side is also expressed through activities like playing guitar, crocheting, making crafts out of felt, and photography.
Aylar considers herself caring and compassionate as she loves volunteering and helping those in need. She shares, “volunteering helped me to develop leadership skills and inspired me to take initiative in my community.” Aylar plans to become an active member of her host community by volunteering at or attending local events. Her desire to help others has influenced her life path as she plans to become an orthopedist or neuroscience so she can use her knowledge and experience for the benefit of others.
During her exchange year, Aylar is hoping to try new activities “like hiking or camping with my host family and friends.” She would also welcome host siblings or even a host pet as she enjoys caring for her own family’s cat. In addition to learning from her host family, Aylar is looking forward to sharing her own culture through clothing, celebrations, and national foods!
