About Enerel
Artistic Enerel loves creating handmade masterpieces through crochet as it allows her to express her creativity and happiness. She “can create anything with a hook and yarn,” and plans to make special handmade gifts for her future host family. When she isn’t crocheting or creating dried flower art, Enerel stays active through dance. Her favorite type is Mongolian traditional dance as it is a way for her to represent her culture and spend time with her friends.
Relationships are of great importance to Enerel, and she values her friends and the memories they make together. Each month, Enerel and her friends plan a picnic together where they share food, play games, and listen to music. These picnics are a highlight for Enerel, and they always end with deep, meaningful conversations. Enerel understands that creating new relationships will be a focus during her exchange year, writing, “Opening myself up and making new friends is my biggest goal!”
Enerel hopes to celebrate holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving with her host family. As a self-described curious person, she is also looking forward to trying new foods and learning more about American high schools. Enerel is also hoping to teach others about Mongolia, writing, “I want to represent Mongolian culture to Americans and teach them our traditional dances.” While Enerel knows that her exchange year may have challenges, she is confident that her hard work and optimism will bring her success.
