About Faith
Creative Faith comes from a large city which is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and nature. She loves expressing herself artistically, especially through clothing design and hair styling. She shares, “Hair dressing allows me to make people feel confident and beautiful, while sewing gives me the freedom to personalize garments to fit individual styles!” Faith also enjoys drama and participating in sports, like badminton, which she often plays with her friends. She values her friendships very much and is thankful to have such positive friends whom she can go to for advice, discussion, and mentorship.
In addition to learning from her friends, Faith also loves reading as “it brings me joy and fulfillment and enables me to acquire new skills.” One of the topics that Faith enjoys learning about most is medicine as she is passionate about helping others and dreams of becoming an oncologist. When looking ahead to her future, Faith is also very ambitious and has recently become interested in gaining entrepreneurial skills, like IT and computer literacy. She hopes these skills, coupled with the independence she will gain in the US, will help her start her own business one day.
While in the US, Faith is excited to try new activities like “hiking, camping, and participating in charity work.” She is also looking forward to immersing herself in her host community, making new friends at school, and taking new and interesting classes. Faith loves teaching others and learning new things, qualities she knows will be useful in the US as she shares her culture with others and learns more about American traditions and lifestyles.
