About Timea

Artistic and active Timea comes from a peaceful city that is surrounded by nature, a place she is proud to call her home. She enjoys visiting museums and parks with her family, with whom she is very close. When they aren’t exploring their own city, Timea and her family like to travel, cook meals together, and spend time at home with their pet cat.

Timea is “passionate about any type of art- listening to music, drawing, painting, and her favorite, hip hop dancing.” She has recently taken on a new responsibility of teaching dance to children, which has allowed her to share her passion with others while also improving her communication and readiness skills. When she isn’t teaching dance, Timea admits she is very sociable and loves spending time with her friends. They are very active and enjoy spending most of their time outside playing sports like basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Timea speaks fondly of her friends, as she is grateful to have people in her life that she can always count on. Looking ahead to her future, Timea is planning to get a degree in either business or marketing as she finds both career paths interesting!

A driving force to going on exchange is Timea’s desire to “learn about other cultures and see how other people live their lives.” She is looking forward to living with a host family and becoming a part of their home. As she settles into her new community and school, Timea is excited to meet new people and share her own culture and traditions with others. She is also excited to try new things while in the US, like cheerleading, golf, or even tennis! Timea knows that this experience will be life-changing as she fondly notes, “I am hoping to create ever-lasting memories that I can look back on with a smile on my face.”
