About Inoke
Inoke is a caring older sibling who comes from a peaceful neighborhood in Kiribati. Inoke’s adventurous spirit shines through his experiences—he’s already an experienced traveler, having spent several years studying abroad in Fiji. When it comes to fun, Inoke treasures time with his friends, whether they’re enjoying picnics or playing games together.
One of his favorite activities is table tennis, a hobby that he’s passionate about. “You have to think of a strategy to gain the upper hand,” he explains, highlighting his love for focus and challenge. Inoke is also deeply motivated by his career goals. He dreams of becoming a lawyer and serving his country with dedication “I want to become a lawyer and serve my country wholeheartedly in the future!” exclaims Inoke. He says, “it’s really fascinating and interesting since it can balance the world.”
Inoke hopes that his time in the U.S. will help him to become a better person and share information and knowledge with his home country. His belief is that this experience will also “develop his understanding in seeing things through different perspectives.” Career goals are a huge motivation for Inoke, and he cannot wait to learn more about the legal and justice systems in the U.S., as well as study hard in subjects such as history, politics, and civics. He says, “true justice will bring peace to both the people and its country.”
