About Andreea
Andreea considers herself motivated and open‑minded and loves working with people and exploring new cultures. Because of this, she hopes to one day become a diplomat and travel the world. Andreea comes from a small but close‑knit family and is responsible, respectful, and independent, helping at home by keeping her room organized and helping to prepare meals. She is also an animal lover as she cares for her pet fish and spends time with her grandma’s dogs and cats. When she isn’t with her family, Andreea loves spending time with her friends who “give me strength and with whom I can have soulful conversations.”
Volunteering is Andreea’s favorite hobby as it allows her to “meet new people, build relationships, and gain knowledge.” She thrives in environments where she can help, organize, and connect with others, and loves being involved with youth organizations, festivals, and national events. Andreea is also a lover of the arts and has practiced drama for many years. One of her favorite places in her hometown is the national theatre and she is excited to participate in a school musical during her exchange year.
Curious and energetic, Andreea is excited to experience school life in the US! She hopes to try a new sport or join a club to meet people and make friends. As a positive person, Andreea plans to “brighten your days with laughter” while building meaningful connections with her host family. She is also excited to visit interesting places in her host community and looks forward to teaching others about her culture and lifestyle.
