About NAME

Friendly, creative, and full of energy, Dominyka is excited to bring her love of cooking, culture, and new experiences to her American host community! She enjoys staying active and being outdoors—whether it’s going to the beach, hiking with friends, riding her bike, or playing padel. “Hiking helps me feel closer to my friends and nature,” she says. Dominyka looks forward to joining the tennis or track team at her American high school and trying out new activities during her exchange year. In her free time, Dominyka enjoys painting, exploring fashion, and listening to music—especially from her dad’s vinyl collection. She and her friends love sharing their favorite songs and discussing the latest hits.

One thing Dominyka is especially excited to share with her host community? Her passion for cooking! “Something I want you to know about me is that I love to cook and bake,” she says. Her signature dishes—homemade burritos and chocolate brownies—are always a favorite with friends and family.

In the summer, Dominyka and her brother run a successful ice cream shop, an experience that sparked her interest in finance and entrepreneurship. “Having a business has widened my knowledge about money because I’m always surrounded by successful people,” she explains. After finishing high school, she hopes to attend university and study business.

“During my exchange year,” she writes, “I hope to fulfill myself and those around me with love and happiness, and to spread kindness.” With her enthusiasm, creativity, and sense of responsibility, Dominyka is ready to make the most of her exchange experience and create meaningful memories with her host family and school community!
