About Tereza
Family-oriented Tereza describes herself as talkative, open‑minded, and someone who enjoys connecting with others. She comes from a close family and has strong relationships with each person - bonding with her mom over fashion, creating projects with her dad, and making jokes with her sister. Tereza also prioritizes time with her friends, writing, “they are inspiring in many aspects; they support me and I support them!” Together they enjoy bowling, karaoke, swimming, movie nights, and exploring new places.
One of Tereza’s biggest passions is theater as she loves performing, directing, and being on stage. She hopes to continue this passion in the US by joining her school’s theater or drama club. Tereza also enjoys expressing herself through writing as it “helps me to learn to think critically and creatively,” and staying active by participating in hip-hop and folk dance. During her time in the US, Tereza plans to join a school sport like cheerleading or basketball.
Tereza is excited to experience American traditions such as roasting a turkey on Thanksgiving, carving a pumpkin for Halloween, or decorating a gingerbread house at Christmas. She is also looking forward to trying new foods, attending school football games, participating in family game nights, and sharing her own culture through cooking and dance. Tereza is eager to become part of a welcoming host family and create meaningful memories together!
