About Vladyslav
Vladyslav loves spending time with his family, especially his younger sister whom he loves with all his heart. He takes his role as an older brother very seriously and shares, “We have a really close relationship, and it is an honor for me to be her mentor and friend.” Holidays are very important to Vladyslav’s family, and they never miss a chance to celebrate together. During his exchange year, Vladyslav is excited to celebrate holidays with his host family and learn about their own traditions and customs.
Spending time with friends is an important part of Vladyslav’s life, and they can often be found going for walks, eating pizza, or singing karaoke. He shares, “During our walks, we love to talk and laugh, which makes our relationships feel warm.” In addition to spending time with friends, Vladyslav loves attending his local speaking club! This is a great opportunity for him to practice foreign languages and discuss different topics, anything from books and movies to world and country events. When he isn’t spending time with his friends or family, Vladyslav likes to relax by reading books, watching movies, or writing poetry.
While in the US, Vladyslav would love to volunteer or join a school club related to dancing or singing. As a music lover, he has grown to appreciate concerts and performances and would love to participate. Vladyslav also plans to bring Ukrainian sweets to share with his future host family and friends. As he looks forward to his exchange experience, Vladyslav writes, “I am truly looking forward to meeting you and becoming a part of your family!”
