About Anna
Anna has a friendly and warm family that loves celebrating the holidays and upholding family traditions. As a lover of animals since she was young, one of Anna’s favorite family members is her dog, sharing, “My dog brings joy and energy to my life…I love spending time with animals.” Anna also has a group of friends that inspire and support her. When they aren’t in school, they enjoy going on picnics, exploring their city, filming videos, and discussing world events. Anna plans to bring her friendly demeanor with her to the US as she knows that this program is a great opportunity to meet new people and create long-lasting friendships!
Staying active is very important to Anna, and she has many hobbies from swimming and yoga to poetry and puzzles. “I like doing creative things such as drawing, writing, and crafting,” she shares. She also loves learning and her current favorite subjects are literature and Spanish, which she just started to study recently. Anna’s creativity is driving her future as she hopes to study the cinematic arts or journalism. Though her parents are not outdoorsy people, Anna loves being outside and would welcome a host family who is also fond of nature.
While in the US, Anna would love to join a drama club, try a new sport, or learn to play a musical instrument. She knows that she is going to create amazing memories with her host family and friends, and hopes to “make a collection of photos that show my experiences because I also love photography!” Anna understands the importance of integrating into her host community, and she believes that volunteering at local organizations will help her become a member of the community rather than being a guest.
