About Daniella

Daniella comes from a city full of trees and beautiful gardens, which she likes to enjoy with her family. She is very close with her family members, and often goes to them for advice or when she needs help solving a problem. While in the US, she hopes to also have a close relationship with a host family who is willing to help guide and support her on this exchange adventure! Daniella also has a close group of loyal friends who she considers to be her sisters, and she spends much of her time with them. She is very thankful for these relationships and shared that they “support one another and offer help if someone is in need.”

As a motivated athlete, Daniella loves to run and participate in different running and sprinting competitions. She proudly notes that running “is in my veins” as she comes from a family of runners! Some of Daniella’s other hobbies include playing volleyball, dancing, and swimming in the ocean, which she says brings her peace and happiness. Her hard-work transfers over to her studies, as well, as she hopes to “become a lawyer and give a voice to the voiceless.” Should law not be in her future, Daniella also has ambitions of becoming a doctor so she can help people feel better when they are sick.

Daniella attributes her successes in life to her confidence and bravery, traits she knows will help her succeed in the US. As a life-long learner, Daniella is excited to learn new skills and even hopes to pick up a new hobby in her host community, like surfing or playing guitar. She is also looking forward to new experiences and participating in different activities!
