About Muhammad

“Since I was a kid, I have enjoyed my time doing art,” explains Muhammad. His father supports his passion and has encouraged him to explore graphic design in the future. Muhammad wishes to study computer science and programming as a way to continue developing his design skills. He one day hopes to open his own digital marketing agency. In the meantime, he is a dedicated student who enjoys studying and collaborating with his classmates. His teachers appreciate his positive attitude and how well he communicates with his peers.

Muhammad also loves to try new things and hopes to try basketball, boxing and swimming while on exchange. Learning is part of Muhammad’s “… journey of self-development!” He journals and meditates every day as a means of personal growth. He also enjoys reading non-fiction books such as Atomic Habits and The Millionaire Fastlane as a source of inspiration and because “it expands his worldview.” In his family, Muhammad is from a large family and has three siblings! He enjoys spending time with his family and they enjoy watching movies together and going on picnics.

Muhammad has many ideas for his exchange year! He looks forward to learning more about U.S. culture and wants to attend local events and festivals in his host community. He is excited to try new foods like chicken pot-pie, waffles, and tater tots. He is also excited to share his culture with others and says, “I am eager to be part of the YES mission and remove all the stereotypes and misconceptions that we have between both our nations so we can work together for the betterment of the world.”
